Teneligliptin 20mg + Metformin 500mg ER (extended release) combination tablet is prescribed for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. It helps control blood sugar levels by increasing insulin release from the pancreas and reducing glucose production by the liver, ultimately improving glycemic control.
Teneligliptin 20mg + Metformin 500mg ER tablets are used as an adjunct to diet and exercise when these measures alone are insufficient to control blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
- Type-II diabetes mellitus
- Glycemia uncontrolled to Sulphonylurea combination
- Monotherapy resistant diabetes mellitus
- Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
- Swallow it as a whole.
- Do not chew, crush or break it.
