Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is used in the treatment of dry eyes.

- Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid.

Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose is a lubricant. It works similar to natural tears and provides temporary relief from burning, also moisten the eyes. Borax has an antiseptic and antifungal (act against fungi) property, thus works as a preservative. Boric Acid has antibiotic properties that kill infection-causing microorganisms. It also relieves eye irritation. Sodium Chloride and Potassium Chloride are minerals and they provide nutrition.
