Racecadotril + Saccharomyces boulardii + Lactobacillus is a combination of three medicines: Racecadotril , Saccharomyces boulardii and Lactobacillus which reduce symptoms of diarrhoea in children. Racecadotril has an anti-secretory effect. It reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine. This helps to reduce the amount of fluid loss from the body in diarrhoea. Saccharomyces boulardii and Lactobacillus are live microorganisms which restore the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset due to intestinal infections.
